To print the description on the label available length is 20 characters. So to adjust in that small length printing the description of material up to 19 characters by concatenating first one character of grid.
For the given example material description is '950 MILB LIFESTYLE CONTIG BLK' and grid is 'ML' So printing on the label as '950 MILB LIFESTYLE M'.
